Days of Miracles are NOT Over!
Dear Saints: Grace and Mercy to you and your family, on this beautiful day! I wanted to follow up on the email I sent last week (about the Tribe)! Since the release of our movie, “Break the Cycle” on the Pando app — ton a platform inside prisons — Over 351,000 men and women have watched it in just one week! And it hasn’t stopped there! These men and women are writing letters, sharing their hearts, and beginning to find their tribe in this journey. As I mentioned before, this is more than a film — it’s a movement of hope and belonging taking root behind prison walls. ______________ Here is an exert from one of the letters … (For the sake of privacy, I’ve only included their first name in the message .) First, I would like to say Just how profound Breaking the Cycle was for me. I am 57 years and i have never viewed a movie that me cry from the very core of my soul for over 90% of the movie. It was as if i were looking into my life from different perspective at different phases of my life. My name is Trent and i have a 15-year-old son named Prince who i have not seen since he was seven. It is my hope that you can help facilitate a relationship between he and I. ….. the letter goes on …. ______________ Here’s what happened next… Monday – the letter reached us. By Tuesday morning, we were able to search and locate the boy and his family in the Charleston area. All this father longed for was a chance to reconnect — and that’s where grace stepped in. Our team reached out and spoke with his mother. As any mother would, she was cautious and protective of her son. But by God’s grace, the walls around her heart began to soften, and a conversation was opened. Through that conversation, we learned that the boy, Prince, was actually in the car when his father was arrested. Even though, the crime itself took place two years before the baby was even conceived. We’re not here to judge the choices made or the past circumstances. What we do know is this: God is giving this father another chance — a chance to reconnect with his son and begin the work of restoration. And honestly Saints… if nothing else comes from this movie, it is already accomplishing its purpose! It is stirring something POWERFUL inside the hearts of fathers and mothers in prison, who are watching the moving — and they are longing to chase after their children, to restore what’s been lost, to heal what’s been broken. Thats why we are getting letter after letter from all the over the nation. i have letters from Florida, Texas, Virginia and so on… And isn’t that what grace looks like? That, right there, is a miracle in motion. ______________ I don’t know what you’re facing this morning… but our prayer is that you will find your strength right in the heart of your trial. These emails are just a reminder to what the Bible says — “as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”. We’re here to strengthen and uplift each other.
