
Step 1: Eligibility Requirements
✅ Must be at least 17+ years old (Ages 17 – 21)
✅ Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be currently enrolled in a qualifying program
✅ Must demonstrate interest in welding and trade skills
Step 2: Application Submission
📌 Complete the 5&2 Trade School application form (online).

📌 Provide basic personal details, education background, and career interests.
📌 Submit a short personal statement on why you want to pursue welding.


Step 3: Interview & Aptitude Assessment
🔹 Selected applicants may have a brief interview (phone or in-person).
🔹 Some may take an aptitude test to assess mechanical and technical skills.
Step 4: Enrollment & Training
📅 Upon acceptance, students must attend a mandatory orientation.
🔧 Hands-on training begins at 5&2 Trade School, following SPCC’s certification standards.
Course Duration: 12 months (Apprenticeship is included)
📚 Coursework includes safety procedures, blueprint reading, welding techniques, and hands-on lab work.
